Lost in Translation?
I think that my dad doesn’t listen to anything anyone says, and thusly when he tries to repeat stories, they come out totally wrong.
I went home for the weekend, and my brother had tickets to see The Who taping for a VH1 special, honoring them and their music. Basically, there were a ton of popular bands that all performed Who songs, and then The Who came on and did a set. Pretty chill. Pearl Jam, The Flaming Lips, Foo Fighters, Incubus and Tenacious D. The show as at UCLA, so my dad drove my brother and I there and picked us up (five minutes from our house). So on the drive home we told him all about the show.
The next day, my dad took a walk with our neighbor and told him that my brother and I had gone to see a Who tribute band the night before and that the Who showed up as a COMPLETE SURPRISE!
Law School, by numbers

2- People sleeping on couches when we don’t even have to be in class until 10AM
3- Long Islanders speaking very loudly in my student lounge while everyone else is quietly studying
4- Times my Criminal Law professor asked what was confusing the class, as he noticed most of us stopped taking notes half way through class
